MAND Awards: Get Recognized at ANCE!

January 12th, 2022

Don’t miss this opportunity to be recognized or to recognize your colleagues! Give that resume a boost. Read on as we highlight previous winners who speak to how being recognized has benefited them!

Kelly Siverhus: “Receiving MAND’s ANCE award for Outstanding Dietetic Intern was an incredible honor, one that I am considerably proud of to this day. The dietetic internship presents its fair share of challenges. This award gave me a reason to feel confident and secure in my abilities, as I made the transition from intern to dietitian. In fact, I am certain it benefited my job search as I am now happily employed as a Clinical Inpatient Dietitian at a Level 1 Trauma Center back home in Wisconsin.”

Adrienne Hatch-McChesney: “Receiving the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award gave me a sense of accomplishment, belonging, and fulfillment early in my career that really contributed to propelling my motivation to continue down my career path. I was proud to share with my supervisor that the mission I work towards is recognized by other professionals in the field. I am very grateful to MAND for the recognition, and it is something I will continue to include on my resume throughout my career.”

Every year, MAND offers multiple opportunities for outstanding members to be recognized in the following categories at ANCE:

Outstanding Dietetics Student
Emerging Dietetic Leader
Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year
Outstanding Dietitian of the Year (Annie Galbraith Award)
Outstanding Dietetics Educator and Preceptor
Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year

The submission deadline for all applications is February 25th, 2022. Please visit the MAND website Scholarships and Awards page for additional information.
